I know I know
I was standing out there and happen to be standing at an angle to see something very pretty and took this pic....The soft purple one is my BlueGirl, the hot pink is my Perfume Delight and the one in the back is my New Year. The colors just look great together!
This is my Perfume Delights first blooms!!! Its scent is that you smell in rose perfumes and lotions. Wonderful! Strong classic rose scent.
These two, Perfume Delight and New Years really bring out the color of each other! Cant wait for them to grow full so they will mingle together!

I really cant beleive how fast my New Years and Perfume Delight opened. They were just buds yesterday!
each one of my New Years is a little sunset! My own personal sunsets!
Im just sooooo happy my Perfume Delight is finally in bloom!
A shot of my rose garden from the house..I wish they would stop growing so tall and start growing out!
From the front! The three red ones next to the wisteria are planted too close together. Those are the three that have powdery mildrew, rust AND black spot! They just spread from one plant to the other.

And these were flooded just a few weeks back? Well it doesn't seem to have affected them at all. The Perfume Delight's pink colour nearly burned my eyes out. Note to self: invest in a pair of sunglasses before viewing Pinkie's topics!

Oh your Blue Girl is fantastic!!!! I love the three colours together. I've dropped hints to Ian and the kids about a New Year rose if they ever feel like buying me a pressie. Now I'll have to hint about a Blue girl and a Perfume delight too.

Thanks all! The Perfume Delight is a hot pink but now the New Years are brighter than the Perfume Delight.
I just took these. They turn a hot pinkish orange right before they die. LOVELY!
Believe it or not this is the exact rose as the one in my avi. Ill post that one here so you can compare! Amazing!!!!!
Ill be deadheading them tomorrow!
No they loved the flood! They all just shot up like weeds!

I always wait until all the petals fall off before I dead head my roses. I can't bear to remove them before that. Courage? Dooley

OH no! I wait right before the bottom petals fall off. When they are loose. I went out this morning to water and they had already started losing thier petals. That is the last step before they arent pretty anymore!Maybe I should wait but I dont like looking at roses with no petals. To me, thats not pretty. LOL So I deadhead them. I didnt think I would need to deadhead my Perfume Delight this morning but one of the blooms had lost most of its petals overnight. I deadheaded that one and will deadhead the other one tomorrow morning since it opened the day after the first.
