There is a view posts since your last visit that you can click on if there are too many to list in recent posts. Could we have a view blogs since your last visit? I know that generally there is not so many blogs but today there were too many and I wanted to check the one I wrote last night and it wasn't there. I knew how to check it by going to my blog but what if there were others that I didn't know about. I think I could have gone to blogs and checked everybodies to see if I missed some. I always read them even if I don't comment. Dooley

Wise words from the Official Garden Turtle  I understand completely what you mean dooley. When I first developed the blog system it did its job just fine because there was maybe 1 or 2 new entries a day. But now it's a different story, there is a LOT of blog activity and it's hard to keep up. So it is having some growing pains 
I am going to make a list and work through it. It won't be an overnight process but it will get done. Here is what I have come up so far with for the blogs:
- View all blog entries since last visit
- View all blog comments since last visit (for all blogs or just a specific blog)
- Search blogs
- Add a box so that you can easily enter an email address to let someone know about your blog
- Subscribe to another member's blog so that you receive an email when they post a new blog entry
Please feel free to add to the list. It's amazing how a little change can make browsing the blogs and site a whole lot easier.

Ok Dooley as per your great suggestion I spent the last few hours putting the first point above together and now you will be able to 'view all blog entries since last visit' via the link in the main home page panel and the links above the 'Most Recent Blog Entries' columns on both the homepage and main blogs page.
Also you will now be able to view the little orange 'new post' icons ( ) beside any of the blog entries you haven't read yet 
It's so much easier now with this functionality.
