Hey all - I'm repainting my study, and want to paint the walls in a Tuscan style, like this:

I'm not that interested in the texture, but love the color pattern. However, trying to track down a how-to on tuscan painting styles generally returns a lot of interior designers and not a lot of how-tos.

Can anyone help out? How hard is this to do right for a beginner?

I have never painted a faux finish so I can't give you how-tos but I did find some instructions here.
