Good Morning everyone , I had some outside carpet put on my deck a little over a year ago, Does anyone have a good way of cleaning it? It has a little green on it in a few places what could I use to clean that? I thought about using a little clorax but I thought it might discolor it, what do you all think?

Thank you Margie Confused

I would go to a store that sells carpets and ask their advice on which product is best for outdoor carpets. It may be a little more expensive that run-of-the-mill cleaners but it will be worth the extra not to have to worry about it 'bleaching' the colour out of your carpet.

Margie I have carpet on my deck and I just vacuum it. What are the green spots from? I would not use bleach on it. Check with the store that you bought it from. I'm sure they will have suggestions. Good luck with getting it cleaned. Wink

I wonder if you could put a little tiny bit of dish detergent in a garden sprayer and go at it with that? I've never tried it, just a thought.
