Busby is such a pretty dog and does not look his age. I am so surprised to find my cat and dogs getting along so great. Maybe they realize she still has claws and don't want to upset her...ha,ha... I signed an agreement not to have it done or I have to give her back to the Humane society.. I am glad your 2 pets are getting along......

Sherry

Busby is a couple of years older than the photo now Sherry and is beginning to get a few white hairs around his mouth, but still as handsome Smile Little Toby has really taken to him now, he curled up with Busby this morning, it was so cute to see.

He is such a Handsome Boy! Oh my! He has a beautiful shiny luxurious coat, doesn't he? I love the expression on his face -- he looks curious. So glad he and Toby are buds.

I thought you might be interested to see just how well Busby and Toby are getting along together. I can't believe how tolerant Busby is with Toby, he can be quite rough with his play at times.

Best of friends (Toby with Busby) ( photo / image / picture from Gardengirl's Garden )

Busby doesn't even mind being disturbed while having a nap under the table.

Finally, a quiet moment together

Your animal friends are sooo cute. My daughter has an orange cat, she named him pumpkin. Kittens are so playful. I never knew one could teach a cat tricks. My daughter will call him and he'll come to her. If I 'meow' at him he'll talk back to me. They re so fun to play with.
Busby is very handsom. Not sure if I ever saw a black retreiver before. Glad to hear that he is getting along with Toby. They look cute together laying there on your sofa.

Toby and Busby will be life-long friends now I'm sure Gardengirl. They certainly have 'taken' to each other haven't they? Mr. Green
Retreivers are one of the best dogs, in my opinion, for getting along with other species and will happily accept many young animals into their home environment.
Our old Lab used to go for walks with a couple of neighbours cats and would allow my daughters pet rats to climb all over him. Very Happy

What a cutie. If I didn't have allergies, I'd definitely have a kitty. BTW your dog is beautiful! I wish my two old boys were as tolerant of our new puppy, they won't give her the time of day.

I'm sorry your boys are still not accepting your adoreable puppy kaseylib but have patience I am sure they will very soon. I remember when we first brought Busby into the house our older dog Bobbie would not accept him as we had recently lost Bobbie's best friend, Bessie, who was a collie cross. It took a little while but suddenly we noticed that he was letting Busby play with him.
