It was taken today at the lagoon in Victoria, this is part of the lagoon, on the other side of the road. I could walk there but its better to drive and walk when you get there. This is my lagoon site, just click .The Lagoon.

Another great shot of a heron Kildale. I enjoyed looking at your lagoon photographs too and actually recognised around ten of the birds you have pictures of as they are found over here. Very Happy Some are rare visitors but others are residents.

There are a number of birds that are there during the winter months that I have yet to get a photo of, loons are one example, see them a lot but they don't co-operate.
