Here is a baby Mantis about 2 inches long. For some reason they love my Aster plant. Last year I had 2 or 3 of them living in it.
Here is a pic of the stock and the hibiscus together. The white really makes the red stand out.

OK, the praying mantis baby is adorable.
I didn't notice the yellow twirly and bell thingy in the 2nd pic, Deanna, till you mentioned it. I was too busy noticing the pretty grey wood behind and wondering what is between the stock and hibiscus and the sedum? That's a striking pic. I like it.

The hanging thing is a wind chime. My wife picked it up somewhere last year. But we almo0st have to have gale force winds for it to make any noise. The plant at the far right side is my tomato plant. The tag says it is a Big Boy, but it is more of a tomato tree. It is 5ft tall with 72 tomatoes on it at last count. And it just keeps growing and blooming and producing maters.
Now for the shed in the back ground. About 20 years ago, one magazine had a pic of an Irish garden shed. I copied it somewhat. I used to use it for fire wood, but it was big enough, so I moved it to here and use it for storage. The beams are 4X4's and the end walls are concrete with 4 inch long logs imbedded in the concrete. It weighs a ton or more. But it is nice and rustic looking.

your hibiscus is very pretty. Mine is no where's near blooming. I can't beleive your tomatoe plant (tree) 72 toms on one plant-wow. Would you mind showing us a pict of your tom tree?

The growth between the tom and the hibiscus are hollyhocks. They are just starting to bloom.

It has grown some since this pic was taken. The cage is a 3 ft heavy duty cage and it stands a good 2 ft above the top ring on the cage!
