We bought her Saturday from PetsMart (a pet store) where the Waupaca county Humane society tries to find homes for pets. She is 1 years old, spayed and has all of her shots and she was already micro-chipped in case she gets lost.Litter trained and the whole works. I had lost my cat to a stroke not quite a year ago. She gets along with the 2 dogs we have pretty good. I am sure we will have some little spats once in a while until she is used to them. She has never hissed at them...

Birdie looks like a beautiful lady. She is lucky you found her. Our current three animal friends all came from the local animal shelter or rescue. They are the "best"! Stew Face 2

Oh those eyes are hypnotic aren't they? What a beauty your new family member is - I love her colours. I'm so glad you found her and that she is settling in well with you and the dogs. Birdie is a very lucky cat. Mr. Green

Looks like Birdie is one happy camper! Stew Face 2

I love her colouring and her golden eyes. She is a beautiful looking cat.

We are still debating whether to get another cat after our Crazy furbaby passed away. Maybe in the Fall when I am home more often. Like you, we will go to the humane society to rescue our new cat/kitten.

What a cutie...I'd love a cat, but have allergies to them so will stick with dogs instead. Have fun with your new buddy!

Thank you everyone...

She is doing soooooooooooooo good. I had her to the vet on Tuesday and she had a bacteria infection in one ear so we got some medication for it.No worms and everything else checked out.

I can't believe it...we have had her less than a week and she is rubbing on our two dogs...it is so unbelievable...the humane society called to check on her and they were so happy that she fits in our family. Scooter can now relax...he kept following her around checking on her all the time...

She uses her scratching poles and sits in the window watching the birds...

Birdie is a pretty, pretty girl! I love her coloring... She must be so happy to have gotten to come home with you! She looks very comfortable and relaxed. Congratulations to all of you! Tell Scooter he's a good boy, too, and I hope he loves his new friend.

What a beautiful cat Birdie is Sherry and so lucky to have been brought into a loving home with doggie companions. It just goes to prove that cats & dogs can get on well together. I love her colouring and beautiful eyes.
