Hello All,
I see many of you have children and grandchildren. Because I couldn't conceive, my husband and I don't have children. We did not adopt due to my health problems and our lack of finances. I just happily posted for a member of their wonderful pics, but I must say, I realize it's too painful for me.
I just want to let everyone know that it's not that I don't care about your wonderful families...and I hope you understand.

I understand completely. That said, I don't post in every thread either. It could be lack of time, lack of info or just a topic I'm not very interested in.

Hello Glenda,
No pets as of yet...but we have plenty of wildlife in the backyard we take care of...
I told my husband that I'd like to have a couple of cats and a pair of birds (parrolets). Maybe I'll get one of them for Christmas or my b-day...we'll see!
Hello Droopy,
Thanks Droopy...
Well, I don't expect to post in every thread either, but I just wanted to share my reason if anyone wondered...

Susan thanks for the explanation but I'm sure no-one here thinks any the less of you if you don't reply to threads about their children or grandchildren.

SusanLouise, thank you for sharing. I don't post on every topic either, but I sure enjoy being able to read about others and appreciate them sharing a little piece of their lives. Thanks for being here to share also.

Hello SL..sure I understand. Of course.
The fact that you felt it necessary to explain, shows what a thoughtful and considerate person you are.
To tell you the truth, it never occurred to me that you were doing anything odd by not commenting. Very few people comment on every single thread.
But your sensivity on this subjest is clear and quite understandable.
...as they say in Oz--"No worries, mate"!

First of all, nobody thinks any less of you for not posting on every subject. There isn't enough time in the world, with gardening and hobbies and keeping up with housework and such.
Secondly, I want to tell you that you are very brave for admitting this. My husband and I went through many years of infertility and many treatments. I saw so many of our friends and family reproducing so easily and it was very difficult to be happy for them. While we finally found a great dr and he helped us to overcome our problems, I have never forgotten the exclusion and pain of being childless. I hope that you can find peace and happiness.

I’m truly sorry if my post disturbed you, I would never post anything I though may offend or hurt anyone. I’ll be more mindful of situations like this in the future.

I'm with Droopy, Susan and only post on subjects I can enjoy. We're a friendly group and surely wouldn't expect you to feel any discomfort on this blog, only joy!

None of us here would think bad of you for not posting on things..My children are grown up and grandchildren are so busy with sports...just show us some wildlife pictures..I would love to see your yard with the wildlife in it..
I know many childless couples and no one thinks much about it..there are so many of them that can but just don't want any for now and that is completely up to them and I understand and would never question them...life is too short, enjoy it...
Sherry
