I wonder if anyone can help. I have just moved into a new flat. it has a very dark lounge with only one window. The one window looks out onto a bright turquoise wall which gives the flat a dull green hue. The lounge is painted Deluxe Lily White. I need to do something to make it look brighter. I do not want to put a sheer curtain over the window as the room needs all the light it can get. Does anyone have any idea what colour paint will help make it brighter and warmer --- I know this is not going to be easy but I would love some help.

Many thanks

Sally

That's kind of an interesting dilemma. I hope you like the color turquoise.... Since it gives a greenish hue already, I wonder how it would be to paint that very light, lime-y green that is kind of modern and pretty with dark brown? Just an thought...

I think you have to test out swatches of color that are larger than those little paint chips to see how the light in the room affects it.

Good luck!
