The leaves on my Mexican Petunia are turning yellow and dropping. Is it becuase theres not enought water or too much?
I know its a good drought plant so Im not sure which is it.
I drowned the whole yard Tues and Wed. it poured all day. Yesterday there wasnt rain and I didnt water. Its about 101 out so its very very hot. We have the same type of sand youll find on the beaches here (crystal) so it doesnt hold water at all and so it dries out really fast. So Im not sure if all the water was zapped out of the ground or not and theres no way for me to check because of the way they are planted.
Need help. Thanks in advance
Pinkie

It could be from too much water.
Check with a local garden center for some Ironite, it comes with some added nutrients and should green up the petunias in no time.

My Mexican Petunias LOVE water. They wilt quickly when they are thirsty. And the more water they get... the more blooms it produces.

Mine are very green but They dont wilt but dont produce many blooms in this heat. Its just as hot here too Pinkie.I don't know but maybe mulch around them may help hold the water.
