There is such a variety of lovely moths in all different shapes and sizes. Some of them are easily mistaken for butterflies because of their striking colours.
I have had white plume moths visiting my garden. Up until three years ago I'd never seen one before.
It still amazes me how most moths are camouflaged so well against the bark of trees or the leaves of plants.

It is amazing how they can disapear right in front of you. I walk around the garden and when one takes off I try to track it. Some are so small that they can hide under the smallest leaf. Thanks for having a browse.

Great collection of butterflies. We use to see a huge brown moth at night around the lights.I never knew its name except my mom and dad called them Batchaboos. They reminded ne of a bat.
