My old laptop's screen was broken for 3 years. So I got frustrated and pulled the screen out of its casing. A bit of fiddling, pulling and bashing and this was the result... A perfectly normal, working screen again! BTW this was the laptop I built most of GardenStew on.

Good old Bostik! ( photo / image / picture from Frank's Garden )

4 pieces of carefully positioned Bostik were incorporated into the repair procedure.

This doesn't look quite healthy, does it?

And Toni, in case you were wondering yes this is the same laptop you suggested I should make some garden junk out of a couple of years back!

Oh I wish you lived near me Frank!! I had to buy a new screen for my computer just a little while ago. I don't think I'd have dared to fiddle with it though 'cause with my luck if I'd switched it back on it would have blown up in my face. Rolling Eyes

A good job well done by an expert. Mr. Green

That was exactly what I was wondering Frank!

Good job. But if you ever really decide to give up on it I still think it will make a really neat garden feature Wink

"Handi-dandy" as my mom always said. Good work. Your "Good old Bostik!" is the same thing I used to hold some trim in place on my car that came loose Very Happy . By the way I doubly/triply enjoy the photos. I've had a lot of enjoyment getting to see "all" the pictures people post. Fantastic!
