Well I did try to get a photograph of some wasps today but my courage failed me. They were all over the plums that had been blown from the tree onto the ground. They were intent on feeding but became rather angry when I tried to get near them to take a picture. Guess who retreated first....yep ME!!
Love the shot of the chickadee - much more to my taste.

Yes I agree, wasps etc aren't easy. I was lucky, an editor saw my insect site, not the Nature site here. She phoned me and we talked for 45 minutes. Now when they need a bug for their monthly column, they ask me if I have some. Getting paid makes the picture taking a little easier.

OK I've got your method sussed at last - you've got magic fingers!!! If I tried to coax moths in my garden then they'd just flutter off never to be seen again.
