Hello everyone! I'm Karen and I am new here. I just spent some time looking through some of the beautiful pics posted here. Great work everyone! I have a question about my red hot poker plants. They are new for me this year. From what I have read I have been quite fortunate as they are HUGE and gave me tons of blooms earlier in the summer. They are finished now and I am left with three huge plants whose spiked leaves are beautiful but bent and folded from their own weight. My question is - do I cut these spiked leaves back in the fall, now or at all? I have looked on many sites and have gotten conflicting answers. Any advice would really be appreciated. Thank you!
