I just removed a bunch of pups from my aloe vera so i could grow new aloes but unfortunately one of them had absolutely no roots. I read on a website if this happens just let it callus then dress it with top soil to stand it up they also said not to water it or it could start rotting. I did all of this but do i put it by a window to get some sun? Also how often do i check for roots?
Thanks!

Hi.
When you take cuttings or pops from cacti and other succulent you should leave them in the open on a dry, not to cold, dark place for a week or two to create callus. Then you pot it in a porous (note bone dry) soil and leave it there for a moth in the shadow. If the soil is very porous there will be easy to check for roots later on Smile
