I have one vine that produced two of these, and I would like to know what they are. They as as big as a football, and have bumpy skin like a gourd, but seem to be too large for that. We have butternut squash in another part and pumpkins and cucumbers, so it may be a cross- pollination. Let me know what you think.

Looks like a cross between an Acorn or Hubbard and a spaghetti Squash to me. I wonder if you have cut it open yet. Please let us know what veggie critter you have grown.

We cut it open, and it was with a large cavity. The flesh was creamy colour, and it didn't seem to be very appetizing. I don't plan to mass produce them.

Were the seeds in the cavity? Did you cook it? The flesh sounds like a Spaghetti squash. My daughter has a few that are dark green and striped, but she will eat them.

I was expecting to find spegehetti squash features also, but it did not have the characteristics of that variety. It had seeds in it, large white pumpkin looking seeds, but I discarded them, since I don't think there is much demand for this mutant.
