Hi! I'm trying to figure out what some of these perennials are in my yard. Is this a hibiscus? The flowers have 5 petals and grow off thick stalks. Thanks for any help you can offer!

Yep, it's a perennial Hibiscus but I don't know what variety. It will die back to the ground during winter then come back strong in the spring.

Beautiful color. I bought and lost a perrinal this year. Too hot and couldn't keep it watered. The color was a bit darker than yours.

I sure Like it .Mine only had 2 blooms on it.Lots of buds almost open but I couldn't give it enough water to get the to finish blooming Its just so hot here water didn't help.
I really like yours.Mine is dark wine color.

I picked up a Hibiscus at the mark down rack at Home Depot. It's pretty healthy and still blooming. Hope it does as well next year!
