|
Hello,
I am running radical changes on a farm house owned by one of my relatives. I have made most of the interior work, however I am still working on the landscaping and facade of the villas.
Now one of the villas just looks hideous and the other one looks like an old barn ( even though it is an actual villa). I am trying to come up with ideas but I am totally blocked. I am looking for simple creative solutions. I Would appreciate ït if you suggest any good ideas.
Kindly check the picture attached

I wanted to see some huge planters filled with a variety of Mediterranean plants. A tall Cupressus sempervirens (Mediterranean Cypress)for sure and then a variety of flowering plants. Maybe some bright shutters on the windows?

Most mediterranean style villas are painted white with reddish or terracotta coloured roofs - at least all the ones I have seen are. Either that or they are sandy coloured with burnt orange roofs.
I agree with Jewell that some well placed planting would also make the villas very appealing especially if they contained plants from the 'hot' colour range.
