I never did much gardening because I don't seem to be very good at it. But every once in awhile I try again, then go on the search to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Which pretty much sums up why I'm here. I need to figure out what happened to my marigolds.

Hi Joan, welcome to GardenStew from north Texas.
Whatever your reason for joining we are glad you did.
What kind of gardening are you wanting to do, flower, veggie, herbs?
How about taking a picture of the marigolds you are having problems with and posting it and your question in the Flower Gardening Forum and we will see if we can help you out.

Thanks Toni, I posted my problem in the Flower Gardening Forum as you suggested. Hopefully I'll find some answers. I'm interested in flowers & herbs. I was growing herbs in containers. I let my herbs go to seed so I'll have to start over but I wonder if it's too late in the season for zone 9B. Thanks again

Hello there Joan and welcome to GardenStew from West Lothian in Scotland. I think Netty has already answered your question about your marigolds. However, if you have any other queries then we'll all be more than glad to give you a helping hand.
