Okay, it takes me a while to get something ready for the garden. But in this case it was because I didn't have a particular place for it when I bought it, I just knew I would need it someday. My craft room and closet are filled with thrift store finds prove 'just might need it someday' is my junque shopping mantra.

I bought this in Feb 2008

Bought with the 'just might need it someday' mantra running thru my head ( photo / image / picture from toni's Garden )

And sure enough, 18 months later I did find a use for it. I have a Snow Queen Clematis I have been nursing thru a couple of bad moves around the yard, it finally has taken off this summer and has a couple of buds on it. Of course, photos of the blossom will be posted soon.

18 months after buying, I DID find a place/use for it ( photo / image / picture from toni's Garden )

Thanks you all. I think I have a couple more places where I could use another trellis or two like that, time for another trip to our favorite thrift store.

I am hoping the dark greens of the trellis ribs will help the white of the blooms really show up.

Love it! Much more whimsical, and I'm sure it's a showstopper out in your garden.

I love the colors of your trellis. It sure came in handy when you were to ready use it.

That trellis looks very nice...and I like the colours as well.
I'm glad that Clematis finally settled down and behaved.

That's the happiest looking trellis I could imagine! No wonder the clematis is finally content.

Thanks you all for your nice comments, I love bright colors.
I am keeping watch on that bud, you can see it almost on the end of the vine laying over that piece I painted purple, so I can get a photo when it opens.

Oh yeah, perfect use for a "thrift" shop find. That Clematis was just waiting for it.
