Some of my plants are doing really well... Maybe because we've been getting a bit of rain here? Thought I'd post their photos again.
Polka Dot Plant - flower ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden )
This is the Polka Dot plant. Has several cute little purple flowers. I didn't even know it flowered!
Rooster Comb - bigger ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden )
And one of the Rooster Combs is just flourishing!
Sago Palm - growing ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden )
And when I got the Sago Palm... it only had one leaf. Look at him now!
Shamrock - growing ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden )
And the Shamrock has really filled out!

Love your rooster comb. Shamrock is really doing well, and looks like it will be covered in blooms soon. Can't believe that palm had only one leaf. It is sooo full. Great job

Oh, so you got my rain huh??? At least we have cooler temps now.
Your plants are certainly liking the weather change. I didn't know the polka dot plant bloomed either, that's a cutie. Your Celosia is such a pretty red, I haven't grown one in a few years but I just might have to get this fall.
My Shamrock isn't doing very well, it really suffered thru the heat this summer but is still hanging on.

You are right. Your plants look great. I am glad to hear you got some rain. My family lives in south Texas and my brother and neice both live in Houston. Barbara

We can only grow polka dot plants indoors here and yours looks far healthier than any I've seen. Love the rooster comb - such an unusual plant but beautiful.

Your plants are looking very good, aren't they? I particularly like the "Rooster Comb". I have seen this plant growing it the gardens of the Generalife in Granada, Spain. The gardens are VERY romantic, as is the Alhambra and the whole old town (el AlbaicĂn).
Yes, that plant brings back good memories alright.

The Rooster Comb is a first-time plant for me. One of my Aunts pinched up some little starters from one of her pots earlier this year when I gave her a Angel Trumpet plant.
I'd had the regular Celosias before... but nothing that grew like that!
I kept calling them Rooster Feet. She said NO! Rooster Comb!!! LOL

Yep.... gonna need it. I figured I'd wait until Spring. It's almost getting time to think about tucking them away for winter.

Love your pics. I have had several Polka Dot plants and don't think they ever bloomed. That one is so pretty. Love the Rooster Comb also. Thanks for sharing.

Here's another one that has just shot up. It's a Pony Tail Palm... and yes... it's ready for a bigger pot too!
