We had a primary school teacher nicknamed Hawkeye who had a piercing stare just like your hawk - neither wonder he terrified the life out of us when he caught us up to mischief!!

Great shot! I love watching the Hawks ~ except in winter when they feed on my little birds at the feeders. I've never managed to get a good photo of one.

I see them flying high over the fields and open spaces around here but have never seen one close up. He's handsome, alright.

What a regal bird, and so interesting to watch. See them all the time when I go fishing. Here in Little Rock, AR., the city introduced them to use for pigeon and other bird control that was running rampant around the high rises, and control the poop-mess on the sidewalks. I don,t kwon if that worked, but it sure is cool walking downtown, looking up amid the high-rises, and seeing them at-work, or on a pleasure cruise.

Great picture! Hawks are probably one of the neatest birds out there, very majestic, yet very gruesome
