The lady who gave it to me called it a bleeding heart, another friend thought it might be a coral plant.

LOVE IT... definitely an erythrina, or coral tree.
just love it.
tried a few years back to have one... but it just died. did something wrong.
in cold wintered romania... such exotics take lots of dedication and well, knowledge.

LOVE IT. again!

Yes, I think it's a Cockspur Coral Tree (Erythrina crista-galli) as well.
