The birds were scared of the camera at first but after a while they would come up and get a drink. I had it sitting quite close pointed at them..

kuntrygal...those were taken with a BirdCam camera that you can just sit on a tripod or a table to take either close-ups or far away shots. The camera was on a tripod real close to the bird bath...
