A friend took over her dad's house after his passing. She brought me some cacti from his greenhouse. DH was not happy with this. DH, "Why did you take those things" Me, "Well she seem so pleased that she could bring them to me." DH "I don't want them ending up all over the place and taking it over" Well he has change his mind since he saw this the other morning.

That looks amazing Sharon Marvellous green. Is it possible to get a shot of it in perspective with the whole cactus?

The blooms are not as big as in the pic,but it is that green. DD takes all of these, if it blooms again I will get her to take one of the whole plant. It is drop dead gorgeous.

What a beauty! The photos make it look gigantic, heh - I've never had luck with cacti (Oregon is hardly the best climate for them) but you make me want to get one for a houseplant.

Sharon,
Beautiful cactus bloom. What kind of cactus is that? Would love to see a picture of the plant even without blooms.
I have a cactus garden in the planning stage for the strip of front yard between our driveway and the neighbors yard.
