Is it worthwhile to reface cabinets or just replace them? How long do refaced cabinets last? Can I keep the same cabinet hardware, or do I need to replace?

Thanks!

hubby used to be in the cabnet business. If you were to reface, it would depend on the quality of the work done as to how long it would last. if done right, hubby says it should last 10-20 years. If your hardware matches the reface then you should be able to keep it but he says alot of times they get replaced because the hindges wear from time. All depends on the individual and their likes or dislikes. Hope this helps .
