OK, I have recycled an old gazing ball and 2 light covers
no name yet. waiting for grand kids to give him one ( photo / image / picture from thepondlady's Garden )

Andy is a light cover. I base painted them with a primer spray paint then drew on the faces and used my acrylic craft paints to do the detail work. Then I use a UV clear coat to finish. Was lots of fun and easy and cheep.

You probably aren't old enough to remember, but when I was a kid there was a black and white cartoon shown at the theaters that had a man in the moon face that looked a lot like your Andy. He is really cute.
Have you tried the Folkart enamels for glass and ceramic? I have a sample pack for a project I have in mind.
