I have been very busy this summer but I am now back to my garden. I have made it a bit bigger but thinking it is still too small. Now have Sweet corn, zucs, yellow squash, bush and pole beans, green peas and okra. I need more room for cauliflower, broccoli, and onions and am thinking of a whole new place for peppers and tomatoes. Possibly more. But I do have a few questions. One is I hear of a natural pest spray of peppers, soap and vegie oil, and a slug control by them drinking beer.Is this working? And what about ants? I have no mounds just ants everywhere and on everything. Thanks ...Some pics soon to come just everything is only about an inch or two tall right now.
P.S. last crops of corn and squash got ate up by coons and opossums so I made a home made trap and caught 3 opossums and 1 coon. It is a safe trap nothing can get hurt in it. I just take them to the local woods and they are free to go.
