This skipper butterfly (at least I think it's a skipper) landed on my shoe yesterday (near Charlotte, NC). I've looked around on the web, but haven't found one like it yet.
Can someone identify it?

This pretty miss looks like a hackberry butterfly. Good shoe shot.

Asterocampa celtis Hackberry Butterfly. I have them all over the place especially flittering around under and thru our Hackberry trees.

Thank you all for the identification and the references. You've certainly nailed the identification.
