Hi! I was wondering if anyone could identify this flower for me; I desperately need to know the name so I can conduct research for an upcoming biology lab. Here's the description:
- Very thin purple leaves, yellow middle
- diameter ranges from about 1 to 4cm
- Thrived among weeds & other wild flowers
- Found on trail leading to local park (not in a garden)
- Many flowers found to branch off of one large stem, which was relatively thick)
- No thorns
- Some are quite tall; a little less than a metre
- Note: the white flowers to the right and large, weed-like leaves at the bottom of the picture are not part of the plant
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!
