|
Hi everyone. My husband and I very recently bought a house with a beautiful yard full of flowers and shrubs that I can't id. This plant is in our backyard near the water. It's very tall but leaning over. It has white fragrant flowers. The flowers in the photo have wilted. Does anyone recognize this plant? Is it a type of canna? Thanks!!

I don't know what it is but it is not a Canna. Canna leaves come up from the ground in a clump.
Canna X generalis (Canna Lily)

I knew this one and Greenfairy beat me to the answer!
My Aunt gave me a start of this earlier this year... I just love the flower and it is ever so fragrant!
