I purchased a woodburning tool at a local store and it has turned out to be something I really enjoy. I made this by tracing different stencil patterns, burning it, and then applied a glaze to seal it and make it shine. I have not burned myself yet.

How about that! It looks so nice. What is it that you're burning onto?

A lady that I work with is a true artist and is able to do that. I purchased one of her woodburned items. I hope to be able to progress to that point after a bit more practice.

Tammy I am really impressed. That is excellent work. I thought about buying one of these sets just to see what I could do with it. Looks like it would be a lot of fun. I just may have to make the purchase afterall. Can't wait to see other pretties that you will make.

That great work. I think we all need a side craft or project to keep us busy during the winter months. My hubby was going to purchase me one about spring time, but I just wouldn't have time then. I just didn't feel it was something that I was going to be interested in. I'm more into crocheting. I'm going to try & find something crocheting or knitting for my daughter & I to keep busy with this winter. Do keep the picts coming I do like the looks of it.

I love crocheting also and have an afghan that I started last winter pulled out of the closet and ready to be worked on again. Nothing like sitting by the fire crocheting and thinking about next year's garden. Stew Face 2

Nice work. I remember playing with such tool as a kid. Haven't seen any of them recently though.

That's probably why I enjoyed it so much. It made me feel like a kid again. Laughing Stew Face 2
