|
Hi,
I have this growing in my garden. The tree is about 2 meters tall and wide, is soft-medium wood with large-ish green leaves. Produces flowers all year long, and produces these green pods that become beautiful enormous bell shaped flowers (pic attached) that hang. I'd love to identify it, as I have taken many successful cuttings for friends and family and would love to tell them what it is.
I am from Cape Town, South Africa. We are a mediterrainean climate.
Many thanks,
Jason

It appears to be a Brugmansia but I don't know which one. Possibly this one Brugmansia X candida (Angel's Trumpet)
Could we see a photo of the entire plant too?

Oh, jealous here (in a good way). This summer I saw one in full bloom at a garden center at the beach and I made my pal turn the car around so I could see it up close. It was gorgeous. So are yours, Jason, Glenda and Netty.

Thats it, yes! Lovely, thank you!
Mine enjoys full sun, and is thriving. Can they also live indoors?
(I am a newbie gardener).

I hear that they can grow indoors but the flowering is sometimes put off.
