Everyone has pets that they have loved dearly that have passed on. I thought that a place to memorialize them would be fitting for this forum. I will start by posting some pics of Whitey who had to be put down yesterday.

It took me a while to find my favorite pic of Whitey. My son had set his shoes in front of the wood stove to warm before going to work. This was taken in Feb. of 08.

You are welcome to post a pic of your loved pet here too.

What a lovely idea this thread is CK. I'm sure many of our members will add photographs of their beloved pets here.
You have chosen three of my favourite photographs of Whitey - the 'devil' cat one with the red eyes will always manage to bring a smile to my face.

This just breaks my heart, and my throat has a lump in it right now thinking of all the beloved pets we will see here. Capt this was a wonderful idea. Again I am so sorry for your loss. May God be with you.

We received Rambo thru a Cocker rescus group in Sept 1999. He was a Field Spaniel about 2 yrs old then.

Rambo before we got him in 1999 ( photo / image / picture from toni's Garden )

The Rescue group sent up these photos and it was love at first sight ( photo / image / picture from toni's Garden )

April of 2004 ( photo / image / picture from toni's Garden )

At this point we were giving him anything he wanted during his last weeks with us. He kept Randy pinned down until he got that bacon...

Rambo loved bacon, April 2008 ( photo / image / picture from toni's Garden )

He passed on Aug 6, 2008

This is the nicest idea Capt. I'm so glad we have a spot now to honor our sweet pets. I'm so glad you thought of it... but not sure I have digital pics of my kitties, Lilly, Pink and Sister. Oh well, they're here in spirit with all the others.

What a lovely idea CK. I am so sorry for your loss. Some lovely photos here. It brings a lump to my throat. Here are a few photos of some of my departed babies

Poppy ( photo / image / picture from Gardengirl's Garden )
Poppy lived to 16 yrs she was quite a nervous little thing, but very loving.

Penny ( photo / image / picture from Gardengirl's Garden )
Penny lived to 17 years, a beautiful girl who loved to lounge in the garden in the sunshine.

Max ( photo / image / picture from Gardengirl's Garden )
Max was a real gentleman, he lived to 10 years, we lost him through cancer which is common amongst Flatcoated Retrievers.

Bobbie ( photo / image / picture from Gardengirl's Garden )
Here is Bobbie, another Flatcoated Retriever, sporting his huge rossette which he won for being awarded reserve Best in Show.
