I love the photographs of your Japanese Spitz Kiwi and all your others. That hose pipe looked like a snaked coiled up at first glance. Your guinea pigs are soooo cute - I have a real soft spot in my heart for guinea pigs. Thanks for allowing us to share all your wonderful pictures. Very Happy

he barks a lot especially at strangers. he also barks when he hears the doorbell.
he just a barker but doesn't bite even when there we visitors at home.

here's something from wikipedia:

Most Japanese Spitz are good watch dogs, as they have a tendency to bark a lot, especially to warn off arriving strangers. The Japanese Spitz is first and foremost a companion dog and thrives on human contact and attention, preferring to be a member of the family. They are known as very loyal dogs. They enjoy being active and love to be in the outdoors. They are intelligent, playful, alert, and obedient, excellent with children.

Beautiful dog..

I have had dogs through the years and they all bark at the door bell. Some of the sounds are ear piercing so I can't blame them.

We went to Home Depot and listened to door bells on their display and found one that had many different songs, (Christmas and other holidays) and thought we would give it a try. Now our dogs do not bark when the door bell goes off or when the song starts playing...it is so nice and I can change the song easily... Try looking for one...it is worth getting rid of a barking dog. I love it and we have had it a couple years now. I just wish we would of found this out many years ago.
