With American Thanksgiving being next week, I thought this might be of help to some. This is an old family recipe that I have used for years. First you totally rub the bird with butter. This causes it to turn brown in the oven. Next fill the cavity with a mixture of butter and unpopped popcorn. Salt to taste. Then fill the cavity with as much "dressing" as it will hold. Put into a preheated oven set at 375 degrees F. There is no need to time the bird. Just wait for the popcorn to pop and when it blows the birds butt off, it is done and you also have a nice snack for the afternoon football game.

Well were trying to watch our weight so I guess we'll go with the un-buttered popcorn. Seeing as there is enough as is!
