Hi Rena,
I have a lot of seeds, and would be willing to pay postage. Also, most seeds last two years, I believe. What are you interested.

Mary is correct, most seeds are still viable after two years some even will make it to 4 years if stored properly.
You can do the coffee filter test before planting or throwing them away. Lay a seed on a piece of wet coffee filter, fold it over to cover the seed and place in a bright window. If the seed is still good it should start sprouting in a few days. You can transplant the seedling to a pot at that time. I checked out lots of older seeds that way last year.

Sandra,
I don't know what Japanese morningglorys are. I have something I call a mutant morningglory. I found the flower and collected the seeds. It looks like a morningglory, same heart-shaped leaves, same black seeds, same color of flower, but it looks as if the petals were shredded when before it bloomed. It's an annual, but doesn't get blooming until around October here in California. Let me know if you are interested. I don't have any photographs on my computer to send you at this time. If you want, I can probably get you one this weekend.
