When writing blogs or comments could bold type, smilies and so forth be added?

Hi KG, adding these extras to the comments is a bit more involved than adding them to the forum posts and blog entries. In a way their simplicity doesn't detract from the thing on which they are being commented on.
Maybe in the future I could automatically convert links or something, but for moment I think they will stay as they are.
