Reminds me of some sort of bleeding heart. Is it in your yard, Jon?

No it's not in my yard. I found it on a walk through the woods in the fall. I thought it looked interesting so I snapped a photo of it, but could never figure out what it was.

I'm still looking through all my wild flower books to see if I can come up with a name for your mystery plant. Just about six more to go!! Hopefully I'll find something before I go blind. :p

I've looked through my Flora of the Carolina's book and all the rest of my wild flower books and I was having trouble keying it out. :-?
