Hi, i bought a bonsai about a month ago, and suddenly (just this morning) i noticed a bunch of these little bugs (http://www.gardenstew.com/plantstew/garden-image.php?image_id=12605&user_id=6211) all over the floor surrounding the bonsai pot and on the pot as well as on the bonsai itself. Also, crawling in the soil there were a bunch of these (http://www.gardenstew.com/plantstew/garden-image.php?image_id=12606&user_id=6211) as well. I don't know anything about gardening, so i don't know what are these and are they bad for bonsai? If so, how do i get rid of them? Also, i have a cat and a dog, will these things jump onto my pets and bite them?
I'd re-pot your bonsai immediatly MM and clean the roots off before putting it into fresh soil. I don't think any of the bugs you've shown us will do any harm to your pets but it's best to get rid of them ASAP.
