Hi all,
My name is Cody and I am from Rochester ,Washington. just south of Olympia. I am in one of those darned MICRO climates. We are nestled in between the Willipa mountains to the South and the Olympics to the North in what is called the 'Chehalis Gap'. While I am in USDA zone 7-B. 10 miles in either direction is zone 8-A .
I have 44 fruit trees that include Apples, Peaches, Plums, European and Asian pears and Cherries. Our soil is perfect for Blueberries. (I grow 10 different types) also Blackberries and Raspberries. I have started growing veggies in a SFG (Square Foot Garden) and a wide row garden for our Parrots (we have 30 birds).
Our flower, Hummingbird and bulb gardens around the front of the house include Hybrid Tea Roses,Lilacs, Weigela, Azaleas, climbing vines, Bottle Bushes and Lavender to name a few . the bulbs are too many to list.
I found this great web site doing a search on Quinault Strawberries.

Welcome and hope you enjoy. I live in the same region and have been browsing the Stew for a little over a year. Sounds like you have an awe inspiring garden. Can't wait to see photos
