A few photos from the family home over the weekend.
There's a poor little rose bush that was being taking over by the day lilies and Crocosmia Lucifer... so last weekend I cut & dug alot of it way from it... and this weekend it had it's first bloom.

And here's the second hanging basket combo I got from the mark down rack. It's beginning to fill out nicely.

I really like the colors in the petunia. Very different.

Lovely colour! Your petunias are really special. I don't like petunias much, but I do like those! My, I might have to get some petunias this year. Very Happy

What a beautiful rose. Mine are only just showing signs of new leaf growth so it's lovely to be able to share yours.
Those petunias are very unusual - I've never seen that colour before. I don't grow them here as they don't do well with our weather conditions. If I did I think I'd pick some the same colours as your ones.

The petunia colours are quite nice, Cheryl. In fact, the whole hanger is nice.
Things are happening there in Houston it looks like.

Your rose looks like an antique rose -- I like those open faced blossoms. Isn't it amazing how they will respond to a little TLC?

Your petunias are quite...well...let's just say that I keep finding myself not being able to take my eyes off them. Very Happy

The Petunias are gorgeous, I only find the darker colors around here. That color would be pretty mixed in with dark purple ones I have....hmmmm, I have been wanting to make the rounds of two or three garden centers might be time to do that.

When I got the hanging baskets at the mark down rack, the petunia's weren't open... so I had no idea of what they would look like. Imagine my surprise I got something so different!
