My water Irises are blooming, two so far but there is a third bud coming along and some in the second pot have started swelling with potential buds.

I really hope this Clematis is a rebloomer, otherwise these are the last two blooms until next spring.

The Blue Girl Rose is finally blooming. Really didn't take very long from planting to bloom. It was a bareroot rose I got by mail order and only planted 2 1/2 months ago. There are four more buds getting ready. It smells devine You can barely tell that it is just the slightest hint of blue, maybe blooms later in the summer will be a stronger color.

This is my combination birthday/Mother's Day gift.

My water iris are around 6" tall but no signs of flowers yet. I love your new composter Toni - what a lovely, and useful, pressie to get!! I wish I could smell your 'Blue Girl'. If it smells half as good as it looks it must have THE most gorgeous scent Very Happy

Netty, it's called a tumbling composter, both ends open for loading and unloading and there is a lock on the right side to keep it from spinning when you don't want it to.

Eileen, I had pretty much forgotten how wonderful a rose smells so this one is a real treat. The other roses I have, the Freedom Hedge, Knock-Out and one to be named when it blooms? don't have any fragrance.

Just look at all that colour! The irises are simply a super tint of purple, and the rose is quite interesting to see. I have seen those advertised here.

The compost bin looks quite fancy. Let me know how it works during the summer.

That purple is so vibrant! I like that. And you barrel is very nice. I know it will get plenty of use.
