    Hi all,

My husband and I moved into a home 10 years ago that had a jungle in the back yard. My husband has been slowly clearing out alot of the jungle and it looks more like the yard we wanted. We do have an area that still needs work and I'm not sure what to do. The area is along the property line which is a deep embankment going from our property up to our neighbors. This embankment is filled with trees, brush, poison ivy and to my delight blackberries. I want to work on getting this cleaned up and would love to have any suggestions that you might have. I've included a couple of pictures of the blackberry plants so you can see they are quit large. Thank you for any help.[IMG][/url]

I don't know how close you can get to the poison ivy,but that is what you need to address.Get a very good poison ivy killer. Wear gloves and get yourself a couple old disposable paint brushes 1 inch will do,to big and you might get it on other stuff.Just paint the killer, without a lot of dripping ,on any of the ivy leaves you can get it on.It should follow back down into the root and begin to kill the plant.Repeat as often as you need.It may take time ,but you gotta kill it.:sete_011:
