I like this topic Denee, people tend to forget that art is everywhere, and nature is where the best art is produced. Sharon - I LOVE the second photo you posted. I'm amazed that droplets on a leaf can look THAT good

I'm kind of partial to the spiderweb too Dooley. We have those fellows all over the place.
We had just turned the sprinklers off when DD got the pic of the canna leaf. They do look really good.

Denee, I really like the balloon flower.
Do you know the name of the pink canna, I have Maudie Malcolm, China Doll, and Pink Angel, but it doesn't look like any of those. Maybe we can do a trade.

I haven't had time for any new ones, but here's some I took in my yard last year because they interested me... I made them into avatars. A bit of grass, a close up of a dried weed and looking up on one of my trees.

I woke up to this this morning...
( I had to mess with the colors alittle to get it to show up clearer). It was in a perfect arch aross the sky. It was so large I couldnt get it all on the camera. I need a better camera I think!
When I found the end, I ran inside to go get the car keys so I could go to the large feild just up the road. I think thats where the end was! Ive never found the end of a rainbow before but when I came out, the end was gone and the rest was fading fast.
4 O'Clock

Aren't leaves just as beautiful as flowers? This is a calla lily leaf. An unexpected passion flower. A wild and crazy looking pipevine bloom. I'm hoping to lure the pipevine swallowtail butterfly with this.
