I need help with a class project.
I have clients (not real ones tho Smile ) who have a 20`x3` beed in a moist, shady spot. They want deciduous, fragrant shrubs. So far Ive come up with Summersweet...I need at least 3 different varieties. I assume they want shrubs from my zone (z5) since they said visit local nurseries, but its nearing the end of the season so stock is pretty low...

I did an Advanced Search on GSPlants and came up with these four.

Mahonia aquifolium (Oregon-grape)

Hydrangea macrophylla (Bigleaf Hydrangea, Mophead Hydrangea)

Vaccinium vitis-idaea (Lingonberry, Mountain Cranberry)

Rhododendron 'PJM'
