You may have a Anannas melon/or cross. It is a heirloom muskmelon, also known as a (Isreil cantalope), they look like any other cantalope on the out side but the flesh is white.

Just to update everyone,, I took the melon pics to the county extention agent and he sent them to experts at Texas A&M. The general consensus was that it was probably a throwback or a cross to a melon used in the hybridization of the original melon I saved seed from. They said that it does happen occassionally. Finding out what was used in the hybridization is impossible because they are actually patented. Didn`t get any this year to save seed from because of the drought. So I will try again next year. They are still an excellent melon and different from a cantaloupe somewhat so I guess I can name this one myself. What do you guys think of "Hills Honey Sweet" melon for a name ?
