Hello, do you all think it would be ok to take a Cleome out of a pot now and put it in the ground ? It's not doing to good in the pot, I think they are perennials so It would come back next year. This is the 1st. year I have had them, They didn't bloom a lot maybe it was because it was in the pot, I don't know. But I really liked them,But it just quit bloom much after the first time.
Thank you Margie

Clomies come back from seeds each year.I never raised them in a pot they do wonderful in the ground .I always replant each year from the seeds they produce.I forgot them this year but I really love them.

Hi ...new to the forum here. I planted Cleomes (short ones) for the first time this year along with fouro'clocks and Nasturtium in a sunny spot. I believe they are not really perrenials but, like four o'clocks, columbine reseed themselves and spread. I would definitely try them in the ground and see what happens next year!!!
