|
Yes believe it or not. New Jersey is "the Garden State". I am a native of California but bring with me the experience of two prior generations of terrific Gardeners. My mother and grandmother were both incredible gardeners. My Grandmother grew champion roses and my Mother new the name of every plant in her yard! I hope to be half as good as they were. Recently moved into a beautiful home with established beds and professional landscaping. Hoping to plant perennials like mad and get the party started!!! Look forward to chatting with other crazy yard people. If you can't wait to get your hands in the dirt every spring and love to run barefoot in the yard till the sceeters come out then you're my knida people. ----Tami

Hi Tami, welcome to GardenStew from north Texas. Would love to see photos of your garden. Lots of wild and crazy gardeners here, sounds like you will fit right in.
I have no yard to run barefoot thru, I have turned the backyard and 75 percent of the front yard into garden...the rest of the front will be finished this fall when the weather cools down below 100

Hi Tami , welcome to the stew. I am a Jersey girl, transplanted in Tennessee. I grew up in the Point Pleasant area, most of my family is still there so I visit the Garden State often. I think you will enjoy the group here. It's a great place to share & learn.
